If we don’t have what you’re looking for in our library, there are number of ways we can get it for you!
1) Start your search in the Merrimack Valley Library Consortium (MVLC) Catalog. You can search the collections of all 36 member libraries (3 million items!) and use your library card to request that the item be sent here to Ipswich for you to borrow.

2) Log into the Commonwealth Catalog (ComCat) to search participating libraries across Massachusetts to find the books, DVDs, and music you’re looking for. You can also find a direct link to the Commonwealth Catalog link at the top of any MVLC catalog page. Just enter your library card number to begin.
Still can’t find it in ComCat?
3) For items not located in either the MVLC Catalog or the Commonwealth Catalog, or for requests that were unable to be filled, our Reference Librarian can request items on your behalf from other sources. Please use the form below to let us know what you’re looking for. Our reference librarian will request the item for you from another lender, and you will be notified when it arrives.
