FRIENDS OF THE IPSWICH LIBRARY
BOOK SHOP
The Friends of the Library Book Shop sells high quality, gently-used books and DVD’s at bargain prices. Proceeds from the Book Shop are used to pay for Library programs and museum passes. The Book Shop is located inside the library and is open during all regular library hours.
Book Donations
NEW BOOK DONATION POLICY
The Friends Books Shop has changed how we accept book donations. The Friends have implemented twice monthly Donation Days. Donations to the Book Shop can only be brought to the library on a designated Donation Day. We no longer allow donations to be dropped off at any other day or time.
Donation Days occur on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 4pm-6pm in the Book Shop. Bring your donations to the Book Shop during the drop off period and a member of the Friends will be available to receive your donation.
Our greatest need right now is for fiction books.
The Friends Book Shop does not accept the following categories of materials as we cannot sell them:
-
Mildewed, discolored, dirty, or torn materials
-
Books missing covers or pages
-
Trade Journals, Textbooks, Magazines, and Coloring books
-
Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, and Reference books
-
Obsolete Technology Books
-
Cassettes, CDs, and VHS
IMPORTANT: Please do not leave book sale donations outside the library, in the book drop, or in the Book Shop at any other time.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY AND THOUGHTFUL SUPPORT!
