Join Colin Budzyna (WSET II) on a virtual tour of the most famous wine regions in Italy. Pick up a glass of Italian wine and Zoom in to learn about the grapes, the wines, and the regions.
This online course will be divided into three monthly sessions, where we will explore a different regions of Italy each month (Northern, Central, and Southern). Italy is defined by its iconic wines, including Pinot Grigio, Chianti (Sangiovese), and Nero d’Avola. In each Zoom class, we will explore a region, then taste and discuss a wine that is prominent there. Participants may choose to attend one or all of the sessions – please click on the dates below to register for each session.
Sunday, October 4th at 7pm: Northern Italy
Sunday, November 8th at 7pm: Central Italy
Sunday, December 6th at 7pm: Southern Italy

About the presenter:
Colin Budzyna began his wine studies as a server at Eataly Boston, where he first fell in love with Italian wines. As his knowledge and interest grew, he enrolled in Boston University’s Elizabeth Bishop School of Wine. Colin completed Levels 1 and 2 of their wine studies program, before receiving his WSET Level 2 Award in Wines (with distinction). He is originally from Newburyport, Massachusetts, and currently resides in New York City.
