Donate Books

Donations to the Book Shop can be brought to the library on a designated Donation Day.  We no longer allow donations to be dropped off at any other day or time.

Donation Days occur on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 4pm-6pm in the Book Shop which is inside the library on the main floor.  Bring your donations to the Book Shop during the drop off period and a member of the Friends will be available to receive your donation.

Our greatest need right now is for fiction books published within the last 5-8 years.

The Friends Book Shop does not accept the following categories of materials as we cannot sell them:

• Mildewed, discolored, dirty, or torn materials
• Books missing covers or pages
• Trade Journals, Textbooks, Magazines, and Coloring books
• Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, and Reference books
• Obsolete Technology Books
• Cassettes, CDs, and VHS

IMPORTANT: Please do not leave book sale donations outside the library, in the book drop, or in the Book Shop at any other time.
