Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency The MEMA offers state-specific information and answers a variety of questions regarding COVID-19 in Massachusetts and the responses by FEMA during this health emergency. Rapid Pick-Up – A Service for Patrons on-the-go!
A quick and convenient way to pick-up your library holds in-between your other errands. Whether you are in a rush or simply don’t want to come into the library, these items may be picked-up in our main entry way during the hour we are open. To Schedule Rapid Pick-Up: Call the library at (978) 356-6648 (Press 0 for Main Desk) OR Email us at circdesk@ipswichlibrary.org Let us know when you would like to pick up, and we’ll check your items out to you and put them in a bag with your name on it. Please make sure to call or email at least one hour ahead. When you arrive to pick up, grab your bag on the Rapid Pickup shelf in the library entryway. You’re all set! Two New Book Clubs in February 2022
New Year! New Book Clubs! Starting in February 2022, we have two new book clubs for our adult patrons. Read more below to find out more about each one and where to go to register. Booker Bookies Book Club It’s not just a fun club name to say; it’s also a great club to join! The Booker Bookies book club at the Ipswich Public Library welcomes those with a love (whether blossoming or cultivated) for English literature, especially recognizable works of “literary fiction” published in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The selections for Booker Bookies are fiction titles that have either won the Booker Prize or were shortlisted entries. Click HERE to learn more about Booker Bookies and upcoming titles. The first meeting is Wednesday, February 16th at 6:30pm, where we will discuss Shuggie Bain by Douglas Stuart, the 2020 Booker Prize winner. Register HERE. Graphic Novel Book Club Join fellow graphic novel lovers and discuss a graphic novel every second Monday of the month. Title choices will vary between fiction, non-fiction, and biographies.
