There are a number of ways we can get materials for you!

1) Start your search in the Merrimack Valley Library Consortium (MVLC) Catalog. You can search the collections of all 36 member libraries (3 million items!) and use your library card to request that the item be sent here to Ipswich for you to borrow.

2) Log into the Commonwealth Catalog (ComCat) to search participating libraries across Massachusetts. Just enter your library card number to begin.

Still can’t find it in ComCat?

3) For items not available in either the MVLC Catalog or ComCat, our Reference Librarians can request items on your behalf from other sources. Use the form below to let us know what you’re looking for. A librarian will request the item for you from another lender, and you will be notified when it arrives. (Please note that new items less than a year old are typically not requestable through interlibrary loan.)
